Dr. Friedland has practiced optometry 24 years. He is a graduate of Clark University and SUNY College of Optometry where he was awarded the Max Cohen award for community service. He has a full therapeutic license and has passed the NJ oral medication licensing exam. His areas
of interest are primary care optometry, treatment of contact lens overuse, and occupational spectacle prescribing. He is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Dr. Maria Michalski is a graduate of SUNY Optometry school and has been practicing in Nassau and Suffolk counties since 1986. Her undergraduate degree is from Hofstra University with concentration in biology and chemistry. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association and the Suffolk Optometric Association, and has a full therapeutic NYS license. Besides fundraising for cancer and low vision, her special interests are: children's vision, contact lenses, and dry eyes, and is available on Mondays
Dr. Nadine Cohen has practiced Optometry for over 15 years. She is a graduate of SUNY Albany and Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has worked in Ophthalmology offices for most of her career. Her special interests are diagnosis and management of ocular disease. She is available on Saturdays.
Dr. Peter Guidara did his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, receiving a bachelor’s in Science. He continued his education of SUNY College of Optometry where he received a doctorate of Optometry. He has a full therapeutic license, and specializes in primary care of Optometry. He is also fluent in Italian and can speak conversational Spanish. Dr. Guidara is available on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Dr. Eddie Li did his undergraduate at Rutgers University, receiving a Bachelors in both Biology and Chemistry. He is a graduate of the SUNY College of Optometry. His experiences include primary care optometry, contact lenses evaluation, dry eye management and refractive surgery management. He is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
